Trail description

A 6.3 km loop around the Bocksberg from the Gustav-Adolf-Stabkirche in Hahnenklee on the Liebesbankweg, opened in 2007 as one of the first premium hiking trails in Lower Saxony. Benches on the theme of love, works of art and stones with short poems by Goethe, Heinrich Heine and Heinz Rudolf Kunze line the way, which follows the Upper Harz Water Management System for a stretch, and the Liebesbank itself looks towards Wolfshagen over the Langentalskopf. There is also a Kneipp wading pool in the style of Hundertwasser. The loop crosses the ski slope twice, so it is best avoided when the lifts run in winter.
