Trail description
A 3.4 km loop on the Klüt-Erlebnis-Runde to the Klütturm on the Klüt (258 m) west of Hameln. Officially named the Georgenturm, the tower was built in 1843 by the engineer Adolf Buchholz from the stone of Fort George, part of the fortifications on the Klüt that were razed in 1808, and raised to 23 m in 1887. Its platform, 99 steps up, looks over the old town of Hameln, the Weser and the central Weserbergland.
