Trail description
A 12.2 km loop on the HO 7 Hohenstein-Route of the Weserbergland Nature Park, from the Baxmannbaude hikers' car park near Langenfeld to the Hohenstein (340 m) in the western Süntel. The mountain's plateau drops about 40 m on its south side in cliffs of coral oolite that can be seen from far along the upper Weser valley, among them the Eibenwand, the Grüner Altar, the Hirschsprung, the Kreuzstein and the Teufelskanzel.
