Mont Aigoual par les 4000 marches depuis Valleraugue

Trail description

A 23 km loop with about 1,270 m of climbing from Valleraugue up the old postman's path to the summit of Mont Aigoual (1,565 m), the highest point of the Gard, and back down by another way. The weather observatory stands on the top, and the view is wide on clear days. A long, hard day with about 3.7 km on quiet roads; the climb starts low in the hot valley, so set off early in summer.
