Trail description

A 4.4 km walk with about 400 m of climbing from the Lac Cornu over the Col Cornu, 2,414 m, to Planpraz above Chamonix, in the Aiguilles Rouges nature reserve. The route crosses scree and steep switchbacks between the Aiguille de Charlanon and the Aiguille Pourrie. It is exposed with no shade, and best from June to September.
