Lac Blanc (Chamonix)

Trail description

A rewarding climb above Chamonix from the La Flégère cable car to Lac Blanc, which reflects the whole Mont Blanc massif on a calm day. The classic path is winding and rocky but without particular difficulty; it is steep in places, with high rock steps where younger walkers may need their hands, and the Refuge du Lac Blanc stands by the lake. The variant via the Chéserys ends with short ladders and is not part of this route.
