A 3.6 km out and back with about 90 m of climbing from the hamlet of L'Hom into the Chaos de Nîmes-le-Vieux, a field of dolomite rock towers on the high Causse Méjean. The plateau is open and shadeless: hot in summer and cold and windy in winter.
