Velma Lakes from Bayview

Trail description

A 14.5 km out and back in the Desolation Wilderness above Emerald Bay, from the Bayview Trailhead past Granite Lake and over the ridge to Middle Velma Lake, with about 700 m of climbing. Day hikers need a free wilderness permit from the trailhead, and overnight stays need a paid one.
