Trail description
From Dalegarth station in Eskdale the walk crosses the River Esk and climbs gently up the wooded ravine of Stanley Ghyll to Stanley Force, a waterfall in a deep gorge. The walk is about 3 km with 130 m of climbing. Paths in the gorge are steep and slippery after rain.
