Burnmoor Tarn from Boot

Trail description

From Dalegarth station the walk goes up through the village of Boot and follows the old corpse road north over Eskdale Moor to Burnmoor Tarn, a large natural tarn with the old Burnmoor Lodge on its shore. About 8 km out and back with 300 m of climbing; the moor is wet after rain.
