Trail description

From the harbour car park at Porlock Weir, the coast path climbs through steep woodland to Culbone, whose church is said to be the smallest parish church in England. It continues through the long run of coastal woodland past Sister's Fountain near County Gate, crosses into Devon and passes above Foreland Point and Countisbury before dropping to Lynmouth. The Exmoor coast was recognised as a Heritage Coast in 1991.
