Trail description
From the car park by the church at Countisbury, a path climbs over Butter Hill, the 302 metre high point of the headland, then descends the steep western flank of Foreland Point to Lynmouth Foreland Lighthouse. The National Trust headland is the most northerly point of the Devon and Exmoor coast, and the round white lighthouse, first lit on 28 September 1900, shows its light 67 metres above high tide.
