Trail description

From the eastern end of Seaford Esplanade, the coast path climbs onto the chalk cliffs of Seaford Head and continues past Hope Gap to the Coastguard Cottages above Cuckmere Haven, the classic viewpoint for the Seven Sisters. The Sussex Wildlife Trust reserve is now part of the Seven Sisters National Nature Reserve and a stopping point for migrating birds; the cliffs are unstable, so keep back from the edge.
