Trail description

A public footpath signposted to Cynfal Falls leads from Llan Ffestiniog into the Ceunant Cynfal National Nature Reserve, an ancient oak woodland. It ends at a restored Victorian viewing platform above Rhaeadr Cynfal, one of the most dramatic falls in a gorge that Natural Resources Wales calls one of the finest in Britain. The gorge also holds 154 species of mosses and liverworts and the rock stack of Huw Llwyd's Pulpit.
