Trail description

Starting below Manorbier Castle, home of the family of Gerald of Wales, who called Manorbier the most pleasant spot in Wales, the path crosses the beach and climbs red sandstone cliffs with views back to the Neolithic King's Quoit burial chamber. It drops to Swanlake Bay, reachable only on foot, where Stone Age flint chippings have been found, and ends at the dunes of Freshwater East.
