Trail description

The walk starts on the seafront at Amroth, the southern terminus of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, where stumps of a forest drowned after the Ice Age show at low tide, and crosses a stepped hill to Wiseman's Bridge, whose beach was used to rehearse the Normandy landings in 1944. It then follows the old dramway through tunnels built for coal trains to Saundersfoot harbour, completed by 1834 to export anthracite.
