A National Trust walk from Near Sawrey, home of Beatrix Potter's Hill Top, up the stony Stones Lane to Moss Eccles Tarn, a quiet tarn in the low hills between Esthwaite Water and Windermere. The walk is about 3 km out and back with 90 m of climbing.
