Trail description
From Legburthwaite near the north end of Thirlmere the path follows the knobbly ridge of High Rigg north to its summit (356 m), above the church of St John's in the Vale, with views to Blencathra and the Helvellyn range. The walk is about 7 km out and back with 270 m of climbing.
