Trail description
From the end of Roe Head Lane above Pooley Bridge the walk crosses the open moor to the Cockpit, a prehistoric stone circle, then follows the line of the High Street Roman road to the top of Heughscar Hill (375 m). About 4 km out and back with 180 m of climbing on grassy tracks.
