Trail description
From Brockenhurst station this Rail Trail route heads down Church Lane past St Nicholas church and follows a bridleway through Roydon Woods nature reserve, then crosses Sandy Down and Jealous Lane and continues by field paths to the Iron Age hill fort of Buckland Rings above Lymington. Excavations in 1935 showed that its ramparts were faced with upright timber beams and walls of cut turf.
