Bowscale Tarn from Bowscale

Trail description

From the hamlet of Bowscale in the Caldew valley an old bridleway climbs gently along the hillside to Bowscale Tarn, a tarn in a deep hollow below the crags of Bowscale Fell. The walk is about 5 km out and back with 260 m of climbing.
