Trail description

A 12.2 km walk with about 650 m of climbing from Bignasco up the Val Bavona to San Carlo, past stone hamlets such as Foroglio, with its waterfall, and Sonlerto. Most of the hamlets still have no mains electricity, and the path along the Percorso della Transumanza alternates with the narrow valley road. From San Carlo a cable car climbs to Robiei.
