Trail description
A 6.3 km walk up the Val Bavona from Bignasco to Foroglio in Ticino, climbing about 270 m past stone hamlets of traditional rustici built against the rocks. The valley's hamlets have no mains electricity, and at Foroglio a waterfall drops about 110 m next to the village and its small church. The route follows the valley floor through chestnut forest beside the Bavona stream.
