Trail description

A 45.8 km loop around the Dents du Midi from Mex, usually walked in four days with nights at the Cabane de Salanfe, the Cabane d'Anthème and the inn at Chindonne, with about 2,740 m of climbing. It crosses the Col de Susanfe at about 2,490 m and the Pas d'Encel, where a short rocky section has fixed aids, so sure footing is needed. Book hut nights ahead.
