Trail description

An 8 km climb of about 1,300 m from the Obersee above Näfels over the Grapplialp and the Rautialp to the 2,283 m Rautispitz, which rises more than 1,800 m above the Linth valley and is one of the classic summits of the Glarus mountain path network. The link from the Rautispitz to the neighbouring Wiggis is a T4 route and is not part of this hike.
