A 2.8 km climb of about 560 m from the Lac de Derborence, in a wild landscape of rockfalls and old forest, to the Pas de Cheville at 2,038 m. The pass looks over the Diablerets and the Vaud Alps. The road to Derborence is narrow and closed in winter.
