Trail description
A 5.2 km walk with about 150 m of climbing from Meiringen beside the Aare through the Aare Gorge to Innertkirchen. The gorge cuts through a limestone ridge near Meiringen. It was carved by meltwater from the glaciers at the end of the last Ice Age, about 10,000 years ago.
