A 3.5 km climb from Chandolin, one of the highest villages in the Val d'Anniviers, past the Cabane de l'Illhorn to the summit of the Illhorn at 2,717 m, with about 720 m of climbing. From the top you look down on the Illsee and the Illgraben.
