Bella Tola from Tignousa

Trail description

A 5.5 km climb of about 830 m from Tignousa above Saint-Luc, past the Lac de la Bella Tola, to the Bella Tola at 3,025 m. The summit is one of the easiest 3,000 m tops in Valais and looks over a long line of 4,000 m peaks from the Weisshorn to the Matterhorn. The funicular from Saint-Luc reaches Tignousa in summer; carry warm clothes for the altitude.
