Trail description
A 4.1 km walk from the Fürenalp cable car top station above Engelberg down to the Berggasthaus Stäfeli at the head of the valley, losing about 460 m. The path stays on the steep south side of the valley before dropping to Stäfeli, where the Surenen Pass route starts. From Stäfeli a valley path leads back toward Engelberg.
