The Benediktusweg is a signed 21.8 km route from Engelberg to the cable car top station above Niederrickenbach, with about 1,500 m of climbing and a high point near 1,870 m. It is a long day; about a fifth is on lanes. A cable car runs from there down to Niederrickenbach Station.
