Trail description

A 18 km stage of the Walker's Haute Route from Gruben in the Turtmanntal over the Augstbordpass at 2,893 m and down by Jungen to St. Niklaus in the Mattertal, with about 1,310 m of climbing and a long descent. The pass crossing is rated T3 (demanding mountain hiking), so sure footing is needed.
