A 13.8 km stage of the Tour du Mont Blanc from Champex-Lac by the Alp Bovine to the Col de la Forclaz, with about 790 m of climbing. The balcony path above the Rhone bend at Martigny has wide views, and the Alpage de Bovine at 1,987 m has a restaurant.
