Trail description

A 7 km climb of about 1,180 m from Champex-Lac up the Val d'Arpette to the Fenêtre d'Arpette at 2,665 m, the high variant of the Tour du Mont Blanc, with the Trient Glacier straight below on the far side. The last part is a steep boulder field. The descent to Trient is long; start early.
