Trail description

A 7.4 km climb of about 1,100 m from the Predel road below the Predel fortress, over the Mangartska planina pastures to the Mangart saddle (2,166 m) on the Italian border. The path crosses the Mangart road three times and runs about 2 km on it in all. A short stretch near the top has a fixed rope.
