Trail description

The best-known waterfall of the Polana volcanic massif, where the Bystry stream leaps over an andesite step deep in the caldera forests. From the waterfall the trail climbs through the forest of this UNESCO biosphere reserve to Priehybina on the Rudna magistrala. A quiet corner of central Slovakia rich in deer, grouse and bears.
