Trail description

From Bystrička near Martin the path climbs the Valaská valley past the Bazové spring to the chalets at Martinské hole and up to Veľká lúka (1,476 m), the highest summit of the Lúčanská Malá Fatra. It is 9.6 km and about 1,050 m of climbing one way. About a third of the way is on access roads. Brown bears live in these mountains: make some noise in the forest and keep food packed away.
