Trail description
From Necpaly in the Turiec basin the route follows the long Necpalská valley past the Vodáreň and Plavá shelters, then climbs to Chata pod Borišovom and Borišov (1,510 m) in the Veľká Fatra. It is 14.6 km and about 1,030 m of climbing one way, most of it on forest tracks, a long day there and back. Brown bears live in these mountains: make some noise in the forest and keep food packed away.
