From Turie near Žilina the path climbs the forested valleys to Sedlo Prašivé and over open meadows to Minčol (1,364 m) in the Lúčanská Malá Fatra. It is 8.5 km and about 910 m of climbing one way. Brown bears live in these mountains: make some noise in the forest and keep food packed away.
