Trail description

From the Lúčky chalet in the Demänovská valley the path climbs through the forest past the Podroh viewpoint to Sedlo Javorie, then over open slopes to Krakova hoľa (1,752 m). It is 5.5 km and about 820 m of climbing one way, with views of Chopok and the valley below. Brown bears live in these mountains: make some noise in the forest and keep food packed away.
