A walk along the north bank of the Mira estuary at Vila Nova de Milfontes, from Praia do Farol at the river mouth past Praia da Franquia and the old Forte de São Clemente to the Milfontes bridge. Riverside beaches and dunes line the calm estuary on the way. A gentle and scenic walk on the southern Alentejo coast.
