Trail description
Walk down the valley of the Ljanselva in south-east Oslo, from the old Sagstua sawmill croft to Munkerudsaga near Ljabru. The river runs about 7.5 km from Nøklevann in Østmarka to the Bunnefjord, and a marked cultural trail follows it from Rustadsaga towards the sea. Trout live along its whole length, and a fish ladder at the mouth lets sea trout run upstream. Stretches of old-growth forest along the river are protected.
