Trail description
This 5.8 km loop follows Staatsbosbeheer's purple Rivierduinen route, which starts at the Zevenboomsven or 't Quin near Afferden and crosses rolling heath, the fen and dark pine woods on river dunes formed in the last ice age. Its lookout tower on the Hooge Heide stands on a dune of almost 34 metres. It looks out over the Maasduinen, the Maas valley, the Reichswald and the Nijmegen push moraine.
