Trail description
This 4.2 km loop of Voerendaal route V12 crosses the Kunderberg, a 95 hectare Natura 2000 reserve between Kunrade and Ubachsberg, on lanes such as the Breedenweg and Klein Weegske. The hill rises to about 180 metres, with exposed limestone, old quarries and the Koffiepotje lime kiln, which the route passes. Its limestone grassland holds rare plants such as German gentian and wall germander.
