Shikoku Pilgrimage: Yunami to Yokomine-ji

Trail description

Yokomine-ji, temple 60 of the Shikoku pilgrimage, stands at about 750 m on the slopes of the Ishizuchi range, the highest temple in Ehime. Before a forest road came near it in 1984, pilgrims could only reach it by steep paths from Yunami, Itadori or Shirataki. This route climbs the old path from the Yunami rest area to the temple.
