Trail description
A 7.5 km walk across Ozegahara in Oze National Park from Hatomachi pass to the Ryugu crossroads, on boardwalks over the high marshland at about 1,400 m, with only a little climbing overall. The marsh is ringed by Mount Shibutsu and Mount Hiuchigatake; white skunk cabbage flowers from late May to early June and cottongrass follows in late June and July. Private cars are not allowed beyond the Tokura parking area, so shuttle buses run to Hatomachi pass.
