Trail description

Tashiroyama, 1,971 m, has a rare sloping high moor covering its flat summit, part of Oze National Park on the border of Fukushima and Tochigi. This route climbs from the Sarukura trailhead to the summit marsh, which is a special protection zone. Walk only on the boardwalk: the marsh and the roped-off areas are closed to entry. A shelter on top holds a seated statue of Kobo Daishi, enshrined in 1912.
