Trail description
Shizugatake, 421 m, separates Lake Biwa from Lake Yogo in Nagahama, Shiga. This route climbs from the Lake Yogo side to the summit, past historic sites of the Battle of Shizugatake fought here in 1583. The view of Lake Biwa from the top is one of the eight views of Lake Biwa. A chairlift also runs up from Kinomoto.
