Trail description

Ryozenzan, 1,094 m, is the northernmost peak of the Suzuka mountains on the border of Taga and Maibara, facing Mount Ibuki. This route climbs from the Taga side to the summit. It is one of Japan's 100 famous flower mountains and is busy in the flower season. The name comes from Reisen, a Heian-period monk said to be from this area and the only Japanese ever given the title of Sanzo.
