Trail description

Fujiwaradake, 1,144 m, stands in the northern Suzuka mountains on the border of Mie and Shiga and is one of Japan's 100 famous flower mountains. This route climbs from the west to the broad summit, a viewpoint toward the southern Suzuka peaks and, on clear days, the Alps and Mount Fuji. In early spring the slopes are covered with Amur adonis and setsubunso flowers, and many hikers come for them. The Mie side of the mountain is a limestone quarry.
